The Kimono is designed to show the body in a straight fashion and a great choice to wear during social gathering with friends, summer festivals, graduation parties, marriage Tea ceremonies or at traditional inns called Tyokan.
Note to buyer: This style of Japanese Kimono does not require the proper techniques or items required to wear "normal" kimono and it would be a faux pas to wear them to any event that takes place inside a building; as this is an informal wrap and not designed for formal events. Outside of Yukata (the lowest rank of six ranks of kimono), the rest are considered "normal" kimono jackets made from pure silk or rayon fabrics.
